- About: Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) 2018 is a common entrance test for admissions to the undergraduate institutes of the Symbiosis International University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 of the Govt. of India.
- Level: SET 2018 Exam is a University-level entrance test for UG Admissions.
- Conducting Body: Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 is conducted by Symbiosis International University, Pune every year for admissions to undergraduate courses at the 14 constituent Institutions of the Symbiosis International University.

- SET 2018 Notification is released now: Symbiosis International University has released the notification for SET 2018. However, the application form for SET 2018 will be released on 30th January 2018. The deadline to complete the application process is 14th April 2018.

Symbiosis Entrance Test 2018 Eligibility Criteria:
- BCA/BBA Students: The candidate must pass his/her 10+2 qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks to take admission in undergraduate programmes: BCA or BBA.
- Minimum marks: The candidate must pass his/her 10+2 qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks to take admission in undergraduate programmes: B.TECH or BA/BBA.LLB.

- Report Early: Reach your destination early with at least two forms of identification.
- Be Positive: Be positive and stress-free. Trust your preparation and give your best.
- Rest Well: Sleep well the night before the exam.
- Essentials: Make sure that you have pen, pencil, eraser and other stationery required.
- Don’t be Nervous: Don’t fear tough questions.
- Read the full question paper: Spend the first three minutes scanning through the complete paper.

As per the UGC guideline 2006, the reservation policy for all the institutes under the University is as follows within the sanctioned intake:
- SC – 15 %
- ST – 7.5 %
- Differently Abled – 3 %
Above the intake:
- Kashmir Migrants – 2 seats per program
- International Students – 15 %
- Defence Quota – 5 % for SLS-PUNE and SICSR.
