Ashit Kukian, who stepped down as President and COO at Radio City 91.1 last month, has joined Times Television as President of Revenue. In his new role, he will interact closely with the Content, Distribution, Marketing and other enabling functions to ensure that business objectives are met. The Ad Sales and Branded Content teams of the Times Network will directly report to him and he will report to MK Anand, MD & CEO, Times Network.
Kukian, in his last assignment at Radio City, led a robust team and was responsible for driving revenues for the brand through traditional and non-traditional revenue streams. Radio City was recently acquired by the Jagran Prakashan Group.
A veteran sales specialist, Kukian’s expertise in sales spans over two decades. With over 15 years experience in the business of media management, he has an in-depth exposure in the marketing of print and television media.

Prior to venturing into the radio industry, Kukian had a 13 year stint with Bennett Coleman & Company. As part of his portfolio there, he led a significant turnaround at Zoom Television, where within a year of launch, he was instrumental in positioning the channel as a premium Hindi entertainment channel for a high-end urban audience.
